Do you love dogs, the outdoors, and calm, steady walks in the Cumbrian countryside?
The Wild Dog Company is looking for a dedicated and caring self-employed Dog Walker to join our small, friendly team.

This is an ad hoc position — providing holiday cover and helping out on busy days. It’s ideal for someone who doesn’t need full-time hours but enjoys being active, working independently, and spending time with dogs.

Plenty of notice will be given for when you’re required, and full support and guidance will be provided to ensure you feel confident walking our dogs “the Wild way” — with patience, calm, and care.

Job Description:

• Provide high-quality dog walking services to our clients.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs during walks.
• Communicate effectively with dog owners and provide updates.
• Follow personalised care plans for each dog.
• Assist with Wedding services.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with a variety of dog breeds is essential.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to handle multiple dogs at once.
• Must have a full UK clean driving licence and be over 21yrs of age (can't be insured on the van younger)
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
