Kylo’s Take on – The One and Only Dog Grooming Expert!
Hey there, I’m Kylo, a Cocker Spaniel with a pretty great life—mostly because my human, Abigail, is the one when it comes to dog grooming! She’s been crazy about dogs forever (even before I was around, can you believe that?). Her first pup was Coco, a Jack Russell and Yorkshire Terrier cross with silky black and silver fur. That’s where her love for grooming started, and let me tell you, she’s been perfecting her skills ever since!
Abigail moved to Cumbria from the North East in 2014, bringing her creative side with her—she originally studied art and design! But let’s be honest, her true passion has always been dogs (lucky for me!). She trained hard to get her Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and worked in several salons, including a full-time role in a veterinary practice. In 2017, she took the leap and became self-employed, running a successful grooming business until 2024.
What makes Abigail so special? She gets dogs. She knows that we all have different personalities—some of us love a good pampering, while others need a little extra reassurance. Whether she’s creating a fluffy masterpiece or a sleek, stylish trim, she always makes sure we feel safe, comfortable, and fabulous.
She’s also a pro at wedding grooming (which sounds fancy, but I just know it means extra treats and attention!). She offers special pre-wedding consultations to make sure every dog looks perfect for their human’s big day. Humans seem to love their pictures, and Abigail makes sure we look our best in them!
