Our Story: From Luna’s Dad Dog Walking Service to The Wild Dog Company
The Wild Dog Company was formerly known as Luna’s Dad Dog Walking Service - a trusted and much loved local dog walking business originally created by Paul and inspired by his wonderful dog, Luna.
Back when I was running my own dog grooming business, Paul and his dog "Luna" was the walker for my dog, Kylo. Over time, my bond with Luna grew, and I was deeply impressed by how the business was run — full of warmth, reliability, and a genuine love for dogs. It was clear that Luna’s Dad had something truly special at its heart.
When the opportunity came to take over, I was honoured to continue the amazing foundations that Paul had built.
After proudly trading as Luna’s Dad for some time, I felt it was the right moment to evolve - to create something that reflected both where the business began and how it’s grown. That’s how The Wild Dog Company came to life.
The Wild Dog Company brings together everything I’m passionate about - adventure, grooming, care, and connection - offering a full range of services for dogs and their humans all in one place. From walks and grooms to adventures, wedding days, and pet visits, every experience is delivered with the same heart, trust, and dedication that started it all.

Hi, I’m Kylo — and my human, Abigail Wild, really is something special.
She’s spent her whole life around dogs, turning that lifelong passion into years of professional experience. With over a decade in the dog industry, including grooming, walking, behaviour understanding, and canine care, she knows dogs inside and out.
Abigail can read us like an open book — our instincts, personalities, and quirks. She understands what different breeds were designed to do, how that affects how we think and behave, and how to bring out the best in each of us. Whether it’s a high-energy husky or a shy rescue, she adapts to every dog with patience, confidence, and kindness.
She’s a Level 3 City & Guilds qualified dog groomer, trained in canine first aid, DBS checked, and fully insured. Her grooming background means she notices every detail - from coat health to body language - and her calm, experienced approach helps dogs feel safe, even those who usually find it hard to relax.
Every dog she works with gets her full attention and care. Around here, we don’t just go for walks, get pampered or attend weddings - it’s about giving every dog their moment to shine. Trust me, I’ve seen it… and it’s pretty special.
